Ayurvedic Therapeutic Uses
Ayurveda is one of India’s oldest and traditional systems of
medicines that have survived in Indian medical sciences from times
immemorial. It is derived from the ancient Sanskrit roots – “ayus”
meaning life and “ved” meaning knowledge. Originating from the last
5000 years, the recommendations are different for people with
different lifestyle.
Therapeutic uses of ayurveda can cure chronic diseases like
respiration problems, circulation disorders, and indigestion and
elimination problems. Along with these physical problems, ayurveda
also looks after the mental and spiritual well being of all humans.
Using the elements of ether, air, fire, water and earth, the
therapeutic uses of Ayurveda makes you feel refreshed and
rejuvenated to live life anew.
Types of Ayurvedic therapeutic uses
Ayurveda always uses honey, medicinal plants, arthro and neem to
cure people.
Following are the therapeutic uses of Ayurvedic elements:

Honey – Honey contains proteins, fats, minerals, enzymes, amino
acids, fructose, glucose, lactose, volatile aromatic substances,
ashes and water. Honey gets absorbed in our digestive system and
gets instantly converted into energizer. It also acts as a
sedative and speeds up healing, and cures bed wetting disorders
and heals dried tissues. It is a good anti-oxidant that restores
damaged skin and strengthens white blood corpuscles to fight
bacteria and viral diseases. Honey is very good for eyesight,
quenches thirst, reduces effects of poison, heals wounds and
initiates growth of healthy granulation tissues.

Neem – the therapeutic uses of Ayurveda in neem are enormous. Neem
restores digestive disorders comprising mouth, duodenum, liver,
pancreas, small intestines and gall bladder problems. It treats
diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, hyperacidity,
nose/pharynx/lungs disorders and several types of urinary
disorders like albuminuria, phophaturia and burning micturition.
It treats skin diseases, leucoderma, diabetes, fungi infections,
viral; diseases, Chagas diseases, malaria and dental problems.

Medicinal plants – Ayurveda makes use of herbs and other medicinal
plants that help in curing of deep wounds, increases body weight
and acts as a mild laxative. It also reduces effects of poison,
stops hiccups, strengthens eyesights and is very useful for
urinary tract disorders, worm infestations, coughs, diarrhea and
nausea, vomiting and bronchial asthma.
